250kW Natural Gas Generator Set — 20ft Containerised
Enterprise-grade platform, assembled and tested in the EU.
Overview
A 250 kW natural gas generator set built into a 20-foot container: engine, alternator, control panel, cooling and exhaust integrated and tested as one unit. Craned into position, connected to a gas supply and a load, and it runs.
On-site generation has stopped being an exotic option. Grid connection queues in most of Europe now run to years, and a project that cannot get power on a schedule is not a project. Generating behind the meter removes the queue entirely — and where the gas is stranded, flared or otherwise uneconomic to transport, the cost per kilowatt-hour undercuts anything available from the grid. That logic holds identically whether the load is a mining hall or a GPU cluster.
Why teams choose it
- 250 kW, containerised — engine, alternator, controls and cooling in one tested unit.
- Bypasses the grid queue — no connection application, no multi-year wait.
- Modular by design — sets run in parallel as demand grows.
- Suits stranded or flared gas — turns an uneconomic resource into compute.
Typical applications
- Sites with gas available but no grid capacity
- Flare-gas and stranded-gas monetisation
- Bridging power while a grid connection is pending
What you get from Kentino
Kentino supplies, configures and supports this system as part of a complete deployment: site and load assessment, gas supply and emissions requirements, electrical design, EU-based logistics and warranty. On-site generation carries permitting and emissions obligations that vary by country — our engineers will walk through what applies to your location before you order.
Lead time and freight are quoted per project. Contact us for a full bill of materials and a delivery estimate to your site.
Ships from our EU warehouse. Heavy items may require freight arrangement — contact us for a shipping quote and lead time. 2-year limited warranty with advanced RMA support; extended warranty available.
