500kW Gas-Powered Air-Cooled Container — 140 Slots
Enterprise-grade platform, assembled and tested in the EU.
Overview
The air-cooled counterpart to our hydro container: two 250 kW natural gas generator sets powering 140 air-cooled slots, with ventilation, airflow management and networking built into the same 40-foot shell.
Air cooling gets more slots into the same container — 140 against 96 — and costs substantially less, because there is no coolant loop, no pump group and no dry-cooler plant to buy. The trade is per-slot power: air handles standard hardware comfortably and runs out of headroom under overclocking or at GPU-node densities. If your fleet is standard air-cooled units, this is the cheaper and denser choice, and the difference is not marginal.
Why teams choose it
- 140 slots against 96 — air cooling fits more hardware in the same shell.
- Substantially cheaper — no coolant loop, pump group or dry coolers.
- 500 kW self-generated — two 250 kW gas sets integrated.
- Managed airflow — ventilation and containment engineered, not improvised.
Typical applications
- Standard air-cooled fleets at remote gas sites
- Lowest capital cost per slot in an off-grid deployment
- Sites where overclocking is not part of the plan
